The Pace Gallery exhibition Alicja Kwade: Telos Tales in New York, featured never-before-seen monumental sculptures. Embedded within sculpture is a double-sided clock face, mirrored from within to create a multiplication of reflections that appear to dissolve into a curved, reflective surface. This visual technique of warping & mirrors was also translated to the printed and digital materials. I designed the printed announcement using a graphic type treatment that could only be viewed when rolled into a tube. Collaborating with a CAD specialist to create the illusion presented unique challenges but resulted in a dynamic piece that resonated with the exhibition and artist’s work.
